Flights from Belfast to Bournemouth set to take off this summer from 26 May 2021, seats now available to book for this summer with fares from £22.99*. Flexible booking policies mean customers can book now with confidence
easyJet has today announced a new domestic route from Belfast International Airport to Bournemouth on the South Coast of England, providing customers in Northern Ireland with even more domestic connections this summer to book a break to look forward to.
Miles of coastline and award-winning sandy beaches, as well as links to the New Forest and nature reserves for picturesque walks and outdoor activities have made Bournemouth a firm favourite for coastal getaways and family beach holidays in the UK.
Flights to the popular seaside town will operate up to twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer, with flights scheduled to take off from 26 May 2021. Flights are now on sale at easyJet.com with fares available from just £22.99*.
All customers booking flights with easyJet benefit from some of the most flexible policies under its ‘Protection Promise’ which means that customers can book now for later this year with the confidence that if their plans change, so can their booking.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager said:
“We’re delighted to offer a new domestic service from Belfast to Bournemouth for the first time and further strengthen our network in Belfast, providing more opportunity for our customers in Northern Ireland to book a trip to look forward to this summer. We are proud to be the largest airline at Belfast and remain committed to offering customers great value fares and more choice when they fly with us.
“Our Protection Promise means that customers can book with confidence knowing that if they are unable to travel or their plans change so can their flights or holiday, and while the summer may be a little while off, we will be working around the clock to ensure we will be ready to ramp up our flights to reconnect friends and family or take them on long-awaited holiday to remember.”
Uel Hoey, Business Development Director, Belfast International Airport, commented:
“The resplendent south coast of England was essentially the last remaining region of the UK uncovered by easyJet service from Belfast International Airport, having recently added Inverness flights to their extensive domestic range also including Isle of Man and Jersey.
Bournemouth and its hinterland right across the English Riviera is sure to be a popular destination for Northern Ireland travellers this summer, with easyJet bringing value fares to the south coast market for the first time. The route will also provide an excellent connection for holidaymakers in the region to make the trip northbound to experience the multitude of attractions on offer across Northern Ireland.”
easyJet and easyJet holidays have introduced market-leading flexible customer policies under its ‘Protection Promise’, meaning that customers can book now with the confidence that if their plans change, so can their booking. This includes a Refund Guarantee for flights or holidays if they are cancelled plus a full refund for holidays if a customer changes their mind up to 28 days before and – unlike other airlines – with our Travel Ban Protection customers can also receive a refund for non-cancelled flights if plans are impacted by travel bans in a regional or national lockdown; the Freedom To Change flights without a fee up to 14 days before departure, and change a holiday up to 28 days before departure; and if quarantine measures come in to place last minute, our Quarantine Assurance also means impacted flights can be changed without a change fee. All holidays are covered under easyJet holidays’ Covid commitments if holidays cannot go ahead or are impacted by restrictions.
Safety and wellbeing of all customers and crew remains easyJet’s highest priority and the airline continues to have a number of biological safety measures in place onboard in line with guidance from the relevant authorities. This includes daily enhanced cabin disinfection effective in protecting against coronavirus for at least 24 hours and mandatory mask wearing for customers and crew. All easyJet aircraft are already fitted with HEPA filters, similar to those used in hospitals, which filter 99.97% of airborne contaminants in the cabin, including viruses and bacteria.
